Here, we just briefly walk through the steps involved in converting wash gun inlet fittings into quick couplers, which will then allow convenient, thread-free connections.
NOTE: Many of the discussions here refer to concepts described before, so it is imperative that you have read through the previous blog entry.
Wash Gun Inlet with Metric M22 Threaded Fittings
Below example shows the typical gun-to-hose connection without couplers.
The following examples show how to convert the above connection using quick couplers.
Converting the Hose-To-Gun Connection (using Coupler Set A)
- Connect the coupler M22 female with quick plug to the gun M22 male inlet.
- Next, connect the coupler M22 male with quick socket to the M22 female hose fitting.
